Ltd, Nepal is proud to announce Sudarshan Gautam, the first person in the world to summit Mount Everest without arms in 2013, as our esteemed Global Ambassador. In recognition of his extraordinary achievements, we are honored to present him with the prestigious "First Man on the Top" award. Mr. Gautam’s historic ascent of Everest, achieved without prosthetics, exemplifies his unparalleled determination and courage. Beyond Everest, he has successfully summited Mt. Ramdung (5,925 m) and Mt. Yala Peak (5,732 m) in Nepal and is preparing for an expedition to summit Mount Logan, the highest peak in Canada, in May 2026.

Mr. Gautam's incredible accomplishments have earned him numerous accolades on a global scale. He has been honored by the Government of Canada and was featured as a "Noteworthy Canadian of Asian Heritage" on the official government website, www.cic.ca, one of the highest recognitions awarded by the Canadian government. In 2014, he was inducted into the Canadian Disability Hall of Fame, with his award proudly displayed at Toronto City Hall. His inspirational contributions have also been recognized through awards such as the Outstanding Nepali Diaspora Member (2013), South Asian Canadian Trailblazers Award (2017), Toyota Global Champion (2017), and Compelling Calgarians Award (2017). Additionally, his story is taught annually during South Asian Heritage Month, cementing his place as a true role model.

Mr. Gautam’s impact extends beyond mountaineering. As an actor, he starred in the Nepali film Himmatwali (2014), delivering the powerful message, "Disability is not an inability."  These achievements showcase his versatility and commitment to breaking barriers in every field he ventures into.

Academically, Mr. Gautam holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from Nepal Commerce Campus in Kathmandu. His educational background complements his entrepreneurial ventures as a licensed mortgage agent in Ontario and a self-employed entrepreneur. He actively advocates for inclusivity and empowerment as a motivational speaker and public figure, regularly volunteering in schools to inspire children to overcome challenges.

Mr. Gautam has also served as a judge for various public and professional programs and holds memberships in prestigious organizations, including the Tetra Society Vancouver (Honorable Member), NRNA Canada (Global Ambassador 2014), and Lions Clubs Canada (Life Member). His story has been featured by international media outlets such as CNN, BBC, CBC, and Al Jazeera, further highlighting his extraordinary achievements and inspiring millions worldwide.
