Arrival at Paro

2Sightseeing Paro
Visit Paro's attractions, including Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, Drukgyel Dzong, and Kyichu Lhakhang. Ta Dzong, a 17th-century watchtower, houses an antique thangkha collection. Rinpung Dzong is an administrative center and monastic community. Drukgyel Dzong, built by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, commemorates his victory. Enjoy a night's rest at your hotel.
3Paro - Thimpu
Drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital, and visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress. Explore the Memorial Stupa, Traditional Medicines, Painting School, and National Library. Visit Tashichhodzong, the "fortress of the glorious religion," and stay overnight.
4Thimpu - Tongsa

5Tongsa - Bumthang
Visit Tongsa Dzong, Bhutan's royal residence, Ta Dzong, Jakar Dzong, Kurje Monastery, and Bhumtang for a day of history, spiritual exploration, and cultural discovery. Visit the 17th-century fortress, Jakar Dzong, and Kurje Monastery, where Guru Padmasambhava's body imprint remains.
6Bumthang - Ngang Lhakhang
Today's trek begins along the Chamkhar Chu river, passing through villages, temples, meadows, and forests. The tranquil leg ends at a 2,900m altitude village camp after 6 hours of walking.
7Ngang Lhakhang - Ugyenchholing
The trail gently climbs towards the Phephe la pass, passing through juniper forests, before reaching the pass at an elevation of 3,340m. Descend to Tang valley and eventually reach Ugyenchholing village. Set up camp beside the river at 2,850m altitude. Total walking time is approximately 7 to 8 hours.
8Ugyenchholing - Bumthang
Start your day with a morning stroll to Ugyenchholing Dzong, explore the village, and drive along the Tang Chu river to Jakar in Bumthang. Stop at the sacred Membertsho lake, where Terton Pemalingpa discovered artifacts, and spend the night at a lodge.
9Bumthang - Punakha
Visit Jambey Lhakhang, a 7th-century Tibetan monastery, believed to represent the compassionate Buddha. Explore Tamshing Lhakhang for religious paintings. Drive to Punakha, enjoy lunch, and stay at Paro hotel for the night.
10Punakha - Paro
Today marks a day of tranquility. Reach Paro in time for lunch. Later, enjoy a leisurely walk through the bustling Paro market. Spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Paro.
11Departure from Paro
Commence your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, followed by a convenient transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
