LHASA TO KATHMANDU MOUNTAIN BIKE TOUR (LHASA JOINING)

The Lhasa to Kathmandu Mountain Bike Tour provides an amazing adventure, featuring the longest and steepest descent in the world. We will start from the Tibetan Plateau and begin a continuous downhill ride of 150 km, leading us down to the green rice fields of Nepal. This descent, which is an impressive 4600m, is an experience you won't forget.

During the tour, we will travel over 1,100 km, exploring the stunning scenery of Tibet. Our path will include crushed stone roads and breathtaking mountain passes. A key highlight of the journey is reaching the famous Rongbuk Monastery, where we can see the magnificent Mount Everest Base Camp, located at a remarkable height of 5200m. This tour is special because it is the only one in the world that lets you visit Everest Base Camp by bicycle. It was here on the North Face that Reinhold Messner began his historic solo climb of Everest in 1980.

Throughout the trip, we will stay in comfortable hotels and tents, ensuring a good night's rest. Our skilled team of guides, cooks, and drivers from both Nepal and Tibet will provide full support, making sure everything runs smoothly during the tour. The tours are offered from April to October, featuring 15 full days of biking with complete logistical help.

Besides the exciting biking, this tour will also immerse you in the rich culture of the area. You will have the chance to experience three religions - Buddhism, Lamaism, and Hinduism - and learn about the mysticism of Tibetan culture. Additionally, you will experience the warm hospitality of the locals and see the daily lives of villagers.

Join the Lhasa to Kathmandu Mountain Bike Tour and get ready for an incredible adventure that mixes thrilling descents, stunning landscapes, and a deep respect for the cultural heritage of Tibet and Nepal.
