LHASA TO KATHMANDU MOUNTAIN BIKE TOUR (LHASA JOINING)

The Lhasa to Kathmandu Mountain Bike Tour offers an incredible adventure, with the world's longest and steepest descent. Starting from the Tibetan Plateau, we will embark on a non-stop downhill journey that spans 150 km, taking us all the way down to the lush rice fields of Nepal. This descent, totaling a staggering 4600m, is truly an unforgettable experience.

Throughout the tour, we will cover over 1,100 km, traversing the breathtaking landscapes of Tibet. Our route will take us on crushed stone roads and over awe-inspiring mountain passes. One of the highlights of the trip is reaching the renowned Rongbuk Monastery, where we will have the opportunity to witness the majestic Mount Everest Base Camp, situated at an impressive altitude of 5200m. What makes this tour truly unique is that it is the only one in the world that allows you to visit Everest Base Camp on a bicycle. It was at this very location on the North Face that Reinhold Messner embarked on his historic solo ascent of Everest in 1980.

During the journey, we will have comfortable accommodations in hotels and tents, ensuring a restful overnight stay. Our experienced team of guides, cooks, and drivers from both Nepal and Tibet will ensure a seamless operation, providing full support throughout the tour. The tours are available from April to October, offering 15 full days of biking with comprehensive logistical assistance.

In addition to the thrilling biking experience, this tour will also immerse you in the rich cultural tapestry of the region. You will have the opportunity to encounter three religions - Buddhism, Lamaism, and Hinduism - and gain insight into the mysticism of Tibetan culture. Moreover, you will witness the warm hospitality of the local people and get a glimpse into the daily lives of villagers.

Embark on the Lhasa to Kathmandu Mountain Bike Tour and prepare for an extraordinary adventure that combines adrenaline-pumping descents, awe-inspiring landscapes, and a deep appreciation for the cultural heritage of Tibet and Nepal.
