Arrive Kathmandu
Day 01 marks the start of your adventure as you arrive in the vibrant capital city of Kathmandu where a representative will be waiting for you. This person will help you move to your accommodation and ensure a smooth transition to this culturally rich environment full of historical monuments and warm hospitality.
2Sightseeing tour of Nagarkot, Nepal Yoga Retreat and Bhaktapur
On Day 2, prepare for an enriching sightseeing tour that includes a visit to Nagarkot, known for its breathtaking panoramic views and vibrant landscape. The day also includes a stop at the Nepal Yoga Retreat where you can engage in restorative practices to rejuvenate your spirit. The tour ends with a visit to Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and rich traditions.
3Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding [2652m]
Day 03 begins with an early morning flight to Lukla, a small mountain airstrip that serves as the gateway to the Everest region. After landing, you will begin your trek towards Phakding, which is located at an altitude of 2,652 meters. Passing through lush forests and charming Sherpa villages, this scenic route provides an immersive experience of local culture and natural beauty.
4Trek to Namche [3450m]
On the 4th day, the trek continues with the ascent to Namche Bazaar, which is located at an altitude of 3,450 meters. Known as the gateway to the Everest region, Namche offers a variety of amenities and is an important acclimatization stop. The route offers wonderful views of the surrounding peaks and the opportunity to observe the daily life of the Sherpas.
5Trek to Thame [3739m]
Day 5 takes you on a trek to Thame, which is located at an altitude of 3,739 meters. This village is less frequented by tourists and offers a quieter atmosphere. Along the way, you may have the opportunity to visit ancient monasteries and enjoy stunning views of the majestic mountains that surround the Thames.
6Trek to Khumjung [3786m]
On Day 06, your journey continues to Khumjung, which is located at an altitude of 3,786 meters. This picturesque village is known for its unique culture and stunning scenery, including views of the iconic Ama Dablam peak. There is also a school founded by Sir Edmund Hillary which further enriches your experience in this remarkable region.
7Trek to Tengboche [3864m]
Day 07 includes a trek to Tengboche, which stands at a height of 3,864 meters. The place is famous for Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, the monastery offers moments of reflection and the opportunity to observe traditional Buddhist rituals.
8Trek to Namche [3450m]
On Day 08, you will return to Namche Bazaar and retrace your steps on your way back to this vibrant center. Getting to know Namche will allow you to explore all the missed spots, enjoy the local cuisine and relive the vibrant market atmosphere.
9Trek to Lukla [2832m]
Day 9 consists of a trek back to Lukla, where you descend to an altitude of 2,832 meters. This part of the journey provides an opportunity to appreciate the amazing landscape from a different perspective as you descend, culminating in a well-deserved rest in Lukla.
10Flight to Kathmandu
On the 10th day, you will catch a flight back to Kathmandu, where you can reflect on the experiences of the previous days. This flight over majestic mountains offers an unforgettable aerial view of the Himalayas.
11Free day in Kathmandu
Day 11 is a designated free day in Kathmandu, allowing you to explore the local markets and boutiques. Shop for unique handicrafts, souvenirs and traditional Nepali items and immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the city.
12Depart Kathmandu
On day 12, your journey ends with a flight out of Kathmandu. As you prepare to depart, take with you the memories and experiences that have enriched your travels through this captivating region.
