Arrive Paro by Druk Air
Upon your arrival in Paro via Druk air BAe 146-100 series, the exclusive national carrier, you will be treated to breathtaking views of majestic mountains and picturesque landscapes during the flight. Once you complete the necessary visa formalities, our dedicated team will warmly welcome you. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy at your leisure. You will spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Paro.
2Paro Sightseeing
Explore Drukgyel Dzong and make a stop at Kychu Lhakhang along the route. Following lunch, tour the National Museum and Paro Dzong. Rest for the night at the hotel in Paro.
3Paro - Jele Dzong
Begin your trek from the Museum and ascend towards Jele Dzong. The altitude at Jele Dzong is 2590m and the distance covered is 7 kilometers. Spend the night at the campsite.
4Jele Dzong - Jangchulakha
The path leads hikers through dense alpine woodland and rhododendron trees. The campsite is situated at an elevation of 2900m, 10 kilometers away.
5Jangchulakha - Jimilangtso
Enjoy stunning mountain and valley views on a clear day at the campsite located near the lake at an altitude of 3350m. The distance to the campsite is 11 km, making it a perfect spot for an overnight stay.
6Jimilangtso - Phajoding
The path ascends gradually as it continues. If the weather is favorable, you may catch a glimpse of the stunning Mount Gangkhar Phunsum. The campsite is located near the monastery at an altitude of 3116 meters, after covering a distance of 21 kilometers. Spend the night at the campsite.
7Phajoding - Thimpu Sightseeing
The journey to Thimpu descends through a blue pine forest, covering a distance of 8 kilometers. Enjoy a relaxing evening at your leisure before spending the night at a hotel in Thimpu.
8Thimpu - Punakha / Wangdi
Begin your day in Thimpu with a delightful sightseeing tour, exploring the Memorial Chorten, Painting School, National Library, and the Bhutanese Hand Made Paper factory. After a satisfying lunch, embark on a scenic drive to Punakha, crossing the breathtaking Dochula Pass (Alt. 3050 m) that offers mesmerizing views of the Eastern Himalayan Ranges. Rest and rejuvenate overnight at a comfortable hotel in Wangdi.
9Punakha - Thimphu
Explore Wangdi Dzong before heading to Punakha Dzong, the winter residence of the Central Monk Body (Je - Khenpo). En route back, make a stop at Chimi Lhakhang before transferring to Paro. Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Paro.
