Arrival into Kilimanjaro International, transfer to Hotel
Day 1 marks the start of the adventure, as travelers arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where they will be greeted with warm hospitality. After clearing customs and gathering their luggage, guests will be transferred to a comfortable hotel. This hotel serves as a peaceful retreat, allowing visitors to rest and acclimatize ahead of their upcoming trek.
2Drive to Arusha National Park and begin the trek
On Day 2, participants will embark on a scenic drive to Arusha National Park. This journey offers stunning views of the landscape, as the vibrant flora and fauna of the region come into view. Upon arrival at the park, the trek will begin, taking travelers through lush forests and diverse wildlife habitats. The excitement of the climb begins to build as the group sets off on foot, guided by experienced leaders who will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
3Little Meru & Saddle Hut
Day 3 will see the group continue their trek, aiming for Little Meru. The path leads up through beautiful scenery, with towering trees and the sounds of nature surrounding the hikers. After a rewarding day of hiking, the group will reach the Saddle Hut, a cozy resting place positioned on the mountain. Here, trekkers will have time to relax, enjoy a meal, and prepare for the next day's ascent.
4Climb Mt. Meru (4566m / 14980ft), descend back
On Day 4, the challenge intensifies as the group prepares to climb Mount Meru, which stands at an impressive 4,566 meters or 14,980 feet. This ascent is both a physical challenge and a remarkable opportunity to experience breathtaking views from the summit. After reaching the top and taking in the spectacular sights, the group will begin their descent, returning to the Saddle Hut to rest and reflect on the day’s achievements.
5Final Departure
Finally, Day 5 marks the end of the journey. Participants will pack their belongings and prepare for their final departure from this incredible adventure. The memories of the trek, the stunning landscapes, and the camaraderie shared with fellow travelers will stay with them long after they leave Kilimanjaro.
