Arrive Kathmandu
Day 1 marks the arrival in Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal, known for its rich history, cultural diversity, and stunning landscapes. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the city's ancient temples, bustling markets, and unique culinary offerings.
2Drive to Syabru Besi
On Day 2, the journey continues with a drive to Syabru Besi. This scenic route takes travelers through picturesque villages and beautiful hills. The drive will immerse travelers in the local culture and natural beauty of the region.
3Ganesh Link. To Gatlang (2238m), walk approx. 4.5hrs.
Day 3 involves trekking from Ganesh Link to Gatlang, which sits at an elevation of 2,238 meters above sea level. This trek takes approximately 4.5 hours. The path winds through charming landscapes, providing opportunities to witness the daily life of local communities as well as stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
4To Somdang (3258m/ 6hrs)
Day 4 requires a trek to Somdang, located at 3,258 meters. This journey lasts about 6 hours, leading trekkers through lush forests and across rugged terrain. The elevation gain provides a chance to acclimatize while appreciating the serene beauty of the Himalayas.
5To Tipling (1890m/ 7hrs).
On Day 5, trekkers will make their way to Tipling, which is situated at a lower altitude of 1,890 meters. This trek is more challenging, spanning approximately 7 hours. The route offers breathtaking panoramic views and invites hikers to enjoy the beauty of the nature around them.
6To Lapa Khola (1258m/ 5.5hrs)
The journey continues on Day 6 with a trek to Lapa Khola, positioned at 1,258 meters. This trek is expected to last about 5.5 hours, allowing trekkers to experience the tranquility of the landscape as they descend through lush valleys and vibrant flora.
7To Nauban Kharka (2750m/ 7hrs),
Day 7 leads to Nauban Kharka, which stands at an elevation of 2,750 meters. This segment of the trek takes approximately 7 hours. As trekkers ascend, they will be rewarded with expansive views and the opportunity to observe diverse wildlife in their natural habitat.
8To Kerauja (2074m/ 7.5hrs).
On Day 8, the group will trek to Kerauja, located at 2,074 meters. The walk will take about 7.5 hours and includes challenging terrain that rewards participants with stunning vistas and a sense of accomplishment.
9-10To Khorla Besi & Jagat (1340m), walk approx. 6.5hrs.
Day 9 & 10 culminates in a trek to Khorla Besi and Jagat, which is at an elevation of 1,340 meters. This journey lasts approximately 6.5 hours, leading trekkers through beautiful landscapes and marking the end of an adventurous week filled with exploration and connection to nature.
11To Philim (1570m), walk approx. 4hrs.
On Day 11, the journey continues toward Philim, located at an elevation of 1570 meters. This leg of the trek will require approximately four hours of walking. Travelers can expect to enjoy the scenic views along this part of the trail, which offers a blend of natural beauty and cultural encounters. Meals provided for the day include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
12To Deng (1860m), walk approx. 5-6hrs
On Day 12, the trek advances to Deng, which sits at 1860 meters above sea level. The walking time for this stretch is estimated to be between five to six hours. As hikers progress, they will appreciate the changing landscapes and may encounter local villages. Food will be served throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
13To Namrung (2630m), walk approx. 7-8hrs.
Day 13 brings the group to Namrung, a higher altitude at 2630 meters. This section of the hike is expected to take around seven to eight hours. The trek becomes more challenging as the elevation increases but rewards participants with stunning vistas and opportunities to interact with the local culture. Again, travelers will receive three meals, which are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
14To Shyala (3520m), walk approx. 6hrs.
On Day 14, the destination is Shyala, positioned at an elevation of 3520 meters. The walking time for this day is approximately six hours. The air becomes thinner, and trekkers may notice the shift in altitude. As with previous days, meals will be provided, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
15-16To Samdo (3875m), walk approx. 5hrs & rest day.
Day 15 & 16 are notable days as they lead to Samdo, which has an elevation of 3875 meters. This leg of the journey will take about five hours. However, this day is also designated as a rest day, allowing travelers to acclimatize to the altitude and recharge for the upcoming segments of the trek. Meals for the day will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring that participants stay nourished.
17To Larkye Base Camp (4460m), walk approx. 4hrs.
On Day 17, the journey begins as you set off toward Larkye Base Camp, located at an elevation of 4,460 meters. This segment of the trek is approximately four hours long, allowing you to acclimatize to the increasing altitude while enjoying the stunning scenery along the way. Meals provided throughout the day include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
18Cross Larkye La (5140m) to Bimtang (3590m) 8-10hrs.
On Day 18, The trek continues as you prepare to cross the Larkye La Pass, which stands at an impressive 5,140 meters. This challenging hike will take between eight to ten hours, necessitating a strong determination and endurance. The path may be steep and demanding, but reaching the pass offers breathtaking views that reward your effort. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served to keep you energized for the day ahead.
19To Dharapani (1865m), walk approx. 7hrs.
Day 19: After a night of rest, you will trek to Dharapani, which is situated at an elevation of 1,865 meters. This portion of the journey will last around seven hours. As you descend, you will experience a change in the landscape and ecosystem, providing a refreshing contrast to your previous days of trekking. Meals included today are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
20To Khodo (2675m), walk approx. 6hrs.
Day 20: The following day leads you to Khodo, at an elevation of 2,675 meters. The walk will take approximately six hours, during which you will continue to enjoy the diverse surroundings and appreciate the natural beauty of the region. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served, ensuring you remain well-fed and motivated.
21To Pisang (2675m/ 7hrs)
On Day 21, you will travel to Pisang, also at an elevation of 2,675 meters. This segment of the trek is expected to take around seven hours. As you progress, you will observe charming villages and local culture, enriching your overall experience. The day’s meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, will help sustain your energy levels.
22To Manang (3540m/ 4hrs).
The trek from Pisang to Manang involves a climb to an elevation of 3,540 meters, taking about four hours. This shorter hike allows for a more leisurely pace, giving you the chance to appreciate the magnificent landscapes that surround you. As always, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided to ensure you are well-nourished.
23To Yak Kharka (4050m), walk approx. 6hrs.
Continuing on your adventure, Day 23 takes you to Yak Kharka at 4,050 meters. This hike is expected to last roughly six hours. The path may present new challenges, but the high-altitude views will be a significant reward for your efforts. The meals of the day will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
24To Thorong High Camp (4700m), walk approx. 6hrs.
On day 24, you will head to Thorong High Camp, located at 4,700 meters. This trek will take about six hours. The air will be thinner, and the elevation will test your stamina, but the experience of reaching this point will be unparalleled. Meals provided on this day will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring you remain fueled for the adventure that lies ahead.
25-26Cross Thorong La (5380m) to Muktinath, walk approx. 9hrs, & Rest Day
On Day 25 & 26, the journey continues as trekkers cross the Thorong La pass, which stands at an impressive altitude of 5,380 meters. This challenging trek requires approximately nine hours of walking, pushing the limits of endurance and acclimatization. After completing the trek, the group arrives in Muktinath, a significant pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Following this demanding day, a well-deserved rest day is taken to recover and adjust to the altitude. All meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are provided.
27To Goat Kharka via Kagbeni (2810m), walk approx. 6hrs.
On Day 27, the trek progresses to Goat Kharka via Kagbeni, located at an altitude of 2,810 meters. This leg of the journey involves around six hours of walking, allowing trekkers to experience the unique culture of Kagbeni, a traditional village known for its beautiful architecture and rich history. Meals are served, providing nourishment during the trek.
28To Santa (3778m), walk approx. 7hrs.
Day 28 involves a trek to Santa, which is at an altitude of 3,778 meters. This segment of the journey requires roughly seven hours of walking. The scenery shifts as trekkers continue to gain elevation, witnessing stunning views and diverse landscapes along the way. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included to support the trekkers’ energy levels.
29To Ghalden Ghuldun Khola (4247m), walk approx. 6hrs.
On Day 29, the team heads to Ghalden Ghuldun Khola, located at 4,247 meters. This trek lasts about six hours. The path offers impressive vistas, making the strenuous effort worthwhile. Meals continue to be provided to maintain strength and stamina.
30To Lalinawar Khola (4800m/ 4hrs).
Day 30 features a shorter trek to Lalinawar Khola, at 4,800 meters, which takes roughly four hours. This segment provides a more relaxed pace, allowing trekkers to appreciate the surrounding natural beauty. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included, offering essential nutrition.
31Cross Jungben La (5550m) & Niwas La (5120m) to Nulungsunda Kharka (4987m/ 7hrs)
On Day 31, the challenging traverse through Jungben La, standing at 5,550 meters, and Niwas La, at 5,120 meters, begins. The trek to Nulungsunda Kharka at 4,987 meters spans approximately seven hours. This day requires significant effort, but the reward is the stunning views of the high Himalayan peaks. Meals are provided to ensure the trekkers remain energized and focused.
32To Chharka Bhot (4302m/ 6hrs).
Day 32 involves a trek to Chharka Bhot, located at 4,302 meters. This journey takes about six hours, presenting trekkers with a mix of challenging terrain and breathtaking scenery. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided for the participants to sustain their energy.
33Rest day
Day 33 is designated as a rest day, allowing trekkers to recuperate from the previous challenges of the trek. Meals are provided, ensuring that everyone is well-fed and rested before continuing their adventure.
34To Chap Chu (4320m/ 7hrs),
Day 34 marks the beginning of a significant leg of the journey, with the trek towards Chap Chu, which stands at an elevation of 4320 meters. This section of the trek will take approximately seven hours to complete. Throughout the day, trekkers will be provided with a nourishing breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring they maintain the necessary energy levels for the physical demands ahead.
35To Maran (4350m/ 8hrs)
On Day 35, the journey continues as we head towards Maran, which is slightly higher at 4350 meters. This segment will require about eight hours of trekking. The inclusion of breakfast, lunch, and dinner is essential as participants will be navigating challenging terrain, and proper sustenance plays a crucial role in endurance.
36To Nungmala Base Camp (4440m/ 6hrs).
Day 36 involves trekking to Nungmala Base Camp, located at an altitude of 4440 meters. The trek is expected to last around six hours. This stop presents an opportunity for trekkers to rest and recuperate while continuing to receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which will support their recovery and preparation for the days to come.
37To Bagala Base Camp (4400m/ 6hrs),
On Day 37, the group will make their way to Bagala Base Camp, situated at 4400 meters. The trek is anticipated to take six hours, and the provision of meals will remain consistent, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner served to help maintain energy levels and morale among the trekkers.
38To Temche (3900m/ 7hrs)
As the journey progresses, Day 38 takes the group to Temche, a destination at a lower altitude of 3900 meters. This leg of the journey will require approximately seven hours of trekking. Again, participants will be supported with meals throughout the day to ensure they are well-fueled for the trek.
39To Ringmo (3641m/ 4hrs)
Day 39 will see the trekkers heading to Ringmo, which is at an elevation of 3641 meters. This section of the trek is relatively shorter, lasting about four hours. As always, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided, maintaining the focus on nutrition and recovery.
40Trek to Tarakot
On Day 40, the expedition continues with a trek to Tarakot. This leg is crucial for acclimatization and preparation for the next stages. Meals will be provided as usual, emphasizing the importance of proper nutrition during the trek.
41Trek to Juphal
Day 41 involves a trek to Juphal, where the group will continue to enjoy the benefits of carefully planned meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring that everyone remains energized and healthy.
42Fly Kathmandu via Nepalgunj
ay 42 features a flight from Juphal to Kathmandu, with a stop in Nepalgunj. This transition will allow trekkers to return to the capital city, marking a significant point in their journey. Breakfast and one last meal will be provided for comfort and convenience.
43End of Part 3
On Day 43, the adventure officially concludes. Trekkers will be able to enjoy their final breakfast before heading home, reflecting on the experiences and achievements throughout this remarkable journey.
