Arrive in Tanzania

2Machame Gate to Machame Camp
The adventure begins at Machame Gate where the trek officially begins. From there, the journey leads to Machame Camp, a scenic stop that allows hikers to rest and recharge for the days ahead.
3Machame Camp to Shira Camp
The following day, you will continue from Machame Camp to Shira Camp where you will be treated to impressive views of Mount Kilimanjaro. This part of the trek offers a chance to appreciate the unique vegetation and changing climate on the way up.
4Shira Camp to Baranco Camp via Lava Tower
Leaving Shira Camp, the trek leads to Baranco Camp with a notable stop at a lava tower. This detour not only provides a challenging climb, but also serves as an acclimatization opportunity to help the body adjust to the altitude before descending to Camp Baranco.
5Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
From the Baranco camp, the journey continues to the Karanga camp. This part of the trek offers amazing views and varied terrain, making it an unforgettable experience as you approach the mountain.
6Karanga Camp to Barafu Hut/Kosovo Camp
After a restful night at Karanga Camp, the route takes you to Barafu Hut, also known as Kosovo Camp. This site serves as the last campsite before attempting the summit and provides hikers with a basic resting place to prepare for the climb ahead.
7Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Camp
The highlight of the trek is the challenging climb from Barafu Camp to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, followed by the descent to Mweka Camp. This challenging day rewards hikers with exhilarating views from the summit and a sense of accomplishment upon reaching the summit.
8Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
Once you have completed this remarkable journey, you will make your way from Mweka Camp to the Mweka Gate which marks the official end of your journey. The sense of accomplishment is palpable when you celebrate your success.
9Moshi to Tarangire National Park - A Symphony of Wilderness

12Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport JRO to fly back home
At the end of your remarkable adventure, you will transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) for your flight back home, taking with you unforgettable memories and experiences of your trip to Tanzania.
