It is home to several high-altitude glaciers, including the impressive Tsho Rolpa glacier, which is one of the largest in Nepal. The valley is also rich in biodiversity with a diverse array of flora and fauna unique to the region.
The trek to the top of Parchamo begins in the picturesque village of Beding, which serves as the gateway to the Rolwaling Valley. From there, you'll trek through ancient forests, alpine meadows and rugged mountain passes while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The climb to the top of Parchamo is challenging but rewarding as you get panoramic views of the Rolwaling Valley and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
As you reach the top of Parchamo Peak, you will face technical challenges such as steep rock faces, icy slopes and crevasses. However, with the help of experienced guides and support staff, you will be able to safely overcome these obstacles and reach the summit. The sense of accomplishment and awe that comes from standing atop Parchamo Peak and looking out over the vast expanse of mountains and valleys below is truly unparalleled.
Apart from the physical challenges of the trek and climb, the Rolwaling Valley offers a unique cultural experience. The local Sherpa communities that inhabit the valley have a rich history and tradition that you can learn about and appreciate as you interact with them along the way.
