PARO TSECHU FESTIVAL BHUTAN

Paro Tsechu is a Bhutanese festival honoring Guru Padmasambhava. He brought Buddhism to Bhutan in the 1600s. This festival happens each spring. Many people, both locals and visitors, attend. It reminds everyone about faith and community. Rituals bring peace and good fortune. They also help loved ones. "Cham" dances tell Buddhist stories. These dances add to the spiritual feel.

The festival brings people together. Families celebrate their history. They also meet friends and neighbors. A huge picture called a Thongdrol shows Guru Rinpoche. It is shown at sunrise. Many gather to get his blessings.
