Trishuli River Rafting
6:30 AM – Departure from Kathmandu Start your day early. Have a light breakfast at your hotel or grab a quick bite. Arrange for a private vehicle or join a tour group for transportation to the Trishuli River base camp (approx. 3-4 hours drive). 10:00 AM – Arrival at Trishuli River Base Camp Arrive at the rafting launch site. Meet your rafting guide and go through a safety briefing, equipment distribution (life jackets, helmets, paddles), and an overview of the planned rafting route. 10:30 AM – Start Rafting Adventure Begin your rafting journey on the Trishuli River. The trip usually covers around 10-12 kilometers, with thrilling rapids graded from Class II to Class IV, depending on the season. Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding hills, lush landscapes, and the occasional glimpse of local wildlife. 12:30 PM – Break for Lunch Stop for a riverside picnic lunch provided by your tour operator. Enjoy a selection of local snacks and refreshments while taking in the beautiful scenery. 1:30 PM – Continue Rafting After lunch, hop back onto your raft and continue navigating the river's rapids. Your guide will point out interesting features and help with paddling techniques as you tackle more exciting sections. 3:00 PM – End of Rafting Experience Conclude your rafting adventure at the designated take-out point. Dry off and enjoy some time relaxing by the riverbank. 3:30 PM – Return Journey to Kathmandu Head back to your vehicle and start your journey back to Kathmandu. Depending on traffic, you can expect to arrive by early evening. 6:30 PM – Arrival in Kathmandu Arrive back in Kathmandu. If you have time, consider stopping by a local restaurant for dinner or enjoy a traditional meal at your accommodation.
