Itinerary

    Arrive Kathmandu

    Arrive in Kathmandu. Travelers will land in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, where they will be welcomed and taken to their accommodation.

    Fly to Lukla, Trek to Monjo

    Fly to Lukla and start the trek to Monjo. In the morning, participants will take a short flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a small town in the Himalayas, known for its airport. After arriving in Lukla, the trekking adventure begins as the group sets off towards Monjo, a picturesque village nestled in the mountains.

    Trek to Thame

    Trek to Thame. The journey continues with a trek to Thame, a scenic village that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Throughout the day, hikers will enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided along the way.

    To Parchemuche Tsho (4780m/ 6.5hrs) & Cave Camp (5665m/ 5.5hrs)

    Trekking to Parchemuche Tsho (4780m) for 6.5 hours and then to Cave Camp (5665m) for an additional 5.5 hours. This day is filled with rigorous trekking, as participants will climb to Parchemuche Tsho, a high-altitude lake, before advancing to Cave Camp, a site located at a significant elevation.

    Cross Tashi Labsta (5760m) to Trakarding Glacier (4735m), walk approx. 7.5hrs.

    Cross Tashi Labsta (5760m) to reach Trakarding Glacier (4735m), walking for approximately 7.5 hours. The trek today involves crossing a high mountain pass, providing breathtaking scenery and a sense of accomplishment.

    To Kabug (4820m/ 4.5hrs)

    Trek to Kabug (4820m) for 4.5 hours. The group will descend slightly in elevation, allowing for a shorter trek that continues to showcase the natural beauty of the region.

    To Beding (3740m/ 5hrs).

    Journey to Beding (3740m) in around 5 hours. This trek leads to Beding, a small village known for its natural surroundings and lively culture.

    To Dokhang (2791m/ 5.5hrs)

    Trek to Dokhang (2791m) for about 5.5 hours. The trail descends further, providing a diverse landscape as the group approaches their next destination.

    To Simigaon (2036m/ 5hrs).

    Trek to Simigaon (2036m) over a period of 5 hours. This is a more leisurely trek that allows participants to take in the sights as they descend.

    Trek down valley to Bigu Gompa (2516m).

    Trek down the valley to Bigu Gompa (2516m). The group will make their way to this historic monastery, which is significant in local culture.

    Drive to Last Resort

    Drive to Last Resort. After several days of trekking, participants will take a break and travel by vehicle to Last Resort, a location known for adventure and relaxation.

    Rest Day

    Rest day at Last Resort. A day designated for resting and leisurely activities, allowing hikers to recuperate before continuing.

    Resume GHT, Trek to Listi (2260m), walk approx. 4hrs.

    Resume the Great Himalayan Trail (GHT) and trek to Listi (2260m), walking for approximately 4 hours. Participants will ease back into trekking with a shorter hike.

    To Chagam (2705m/ 5hrs), Chogormogor Kharka (3924m/ 4hrs)

    Trek to Chagam (2705m) for about 5 hours, and then proceed to Chogormogor Kharka (3924m) for an additional 4 hours. This day includes gaining altitude while enjoying the diverse terrain.

    To Shotang Kharka (2820m/ 6hrs), & Nyasim Khola Camp (1460m/ 4.5hrs)

    Trek to Shotang Kharka (2820m) in 6 hours, and then make a further trek to Nyasim Khola Camp (1460m) for 4.5 hours. The journey includes significant elevation changes.

    To Kharka (3600m/ 5hrs)

    Trek to Kharka (3600m) for about 5 hours. The group will enjoy ascending to a higher elevation, taking in the mountain views.

  • 22-23

    To Panch Pokhari (4074m/ 3-4hrs), & rest day.

    Trek to Panch Pokhari (4074m) for approximately 3-4 hours and enjoy a rest day. This area is known for its serene lakes and beautiful landscapes.

  • 24-25

    To Tin Pokhari (4255m/ 6hrs)

    Trek to Tin Pokhari (4255m) for 6 hours. The trek takes participants to higher altitudes, where stunning panoramas await.

  • 26-27

    Cross Tilman Pass (5308m/ 6hrs) to north high camp (4720m/ 7hrs).

    Cross Tilman Pass (5308m) in 6 hours to reach the north high camp (4720m) after an additional 7 hours of trekking. This challenging day involves navigating a high pass that offers impressive views.

  • 28

    To Kyangjin Gompa (3830m), approx. 7hrs.

    On Day 28, the journey continues to Kyangjin Gompa, which is situated at an altitude of 3,830 meters. This segment of the trek typically takes approximately seven hours to complete. The day includes meals, comprising breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring that all necessary nutrition is provided for the demanding trek.

  • 29-30

    To Lama Hotel (3030m/7 hrs) & Syabru Besi (1503m/ 6 hrs).

    On Day 29 & 30, the trek advances to the Lama Hotel, located at 3,030 meters, which requires around seven hours of hiking. This part of the trek is followed by a descent to Syabru Besi, at an altitude of 1,503 meters, which takes an additional six hours. As with the previous days, all meals are included, ensuring that trekkers are well-fed and energized for the journey ahead.

    Drive to Kathmandu

    On Day 31, the group transitions from trekking to travel as they drive back to Kathmandu. This journey marks a significant shift, as trekkers leave the mountain trails behind and return to the urban environment of the capital city. Overnight accommodation and breakfast are included to ensure a comfortable stay.

    Day in Kathmandu

    Day 32 is a designated day in Kathmandu, offering an opportunity to explore the city and experience its rich culture and history. Breakfast is provided as part of the stay, allowing trekkers to enjoy the local cuisine and relax after their strenuous trekking adventure.

    End of Part 2

    Finally, Day 33 signifies the end of Part 2 of the trip, with breakfast provided before departing. This day serves as a conclusion to this segment of the journey, offering a moment to reflect on the experiences and achievements during the trek.
