Tashkent Arrival
The itinerary starts in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with a driver and guide to help passengers explore the city. After checking into the hotel, guests have free time to relax and then go on a city tour to see historical sites such as the Khast Imam Complex, Kukeldash Madrassah, Chorsu Bazaar, and the Museum of the History of Uzbekistan. Other cultural sights may also be included to fully experience Tashkent's lively atmosphere.
2Tashkent- Samarkand
The Afrosiab train departs at 08:00 for a scenic journey to Samarkand, a city rich in history and culture. Passengers can relax and enjoy the views on a comfortable ride, with the first stop at Registan Square, known for its amazing architecture. Bibi Khanym Mosque and Siab Bazaar are must-see attractions in Samarkand, offering insight into Islamic architecture and local culture. An overnight stay in the city allows visitors to enjoy local cuisine and reflect on their experiences.
3Samarkand
The group will have breakfast at the hotel before spending the day exploring various historical and cultural sites in Samarkand. They will visit the Imam-Al-Bukhari complex, Gur Emir Mausoleum, Shakhi Zinda Necropolis, and the Mausoleum of Saint Daniel. After a full day of exploration, they will return to Samarkand for the night to relax and reflect on their experiences.
4Samarkand - Bukhara
After breakfast at the hotel, the group travels by Afrosiab train to Bukhara to explore the beautiful nature of Uzbekistan. Highlights of the journey include visiting the Miri Arab Madrassah, Zindan Prison, and the Ark Fortress, which was founded by the epic hero Siyavush. Other stops include the Bolo Hauz Mosque, Samanid Mausoleum, and Chasma Ayub Mausoleum, all important sites in Islamic history. After a day of exploring, the group stays overnight in Bukhara.
5Bukhara
Guests will have breakfast at the hotel at 08:00, followed by a city tour of Bukhara's countryside. They will visit the Bahauddin Nakshbandi complex, a cultural and spiritual site. At 11:00, festivities for Navruz, the Oriental New Year, will begin. Participants will join local community members in Mahallya to celebrate with traditional foods like Sumalyak and Khalisa. The day will culminate in a grand feast, allowing guests to experience local customs and traditions. The day will end with an overnight stay in Bukhara.
6Bukhara - Tashkent
The journey to Tashkent begins on the Afrosiab train at 5:00 am, known for its comfort and speed. Passengers can enjoy scenic views as they travel towards the capital city, arriving at 10:00 am. A guided city tour offers a glimpse into Tashkent's rich history and culture, with stops at landmarks like the Khast Imam Complex and bustling markets to sample local delicacies. Explore the city's unique blend of modernity and tradition on this adventure.
7Tashkent - Chimgan - Tashkent
Transfer from Tashkent to the Chimgan Mountains area, 120 km away. Enjoy picturesque views, local life, and seasonal activities like skiing and hiking. Stop at Beldersay gorge for a chair lift ride to Kumbel peak, visit Charvak Lake, see ancient rock paintings, and have lunch at a mountain restaurant. Return to Tashkent after a 200 km journey. Arrival in Tashkent by 15:00.
8Depart Tashkent
Have a tasty breakfast at the hotel, pack and leave. The transfer service will take you to the airport where you can go through security, check in for your flight and then board the plane to return home.
